The climber behind the cause

Meet Mike
Gangloff.

Mike Gangloff is a Honolulu builder and community leader who has spent his career turning ambitious ideas into work that serves Hawaiʻi.

As the leader of MIRA Image Construction, Mike has helped deliver complex projects across the islands. When the pandemic put kūpuna and neighborhood restaurants under pressure, he created the Show Aloha Challenge to put donated dollars to work as hot meals—and keep local kitchens working. That effort grew into the SAC Foundation and Show Aloha Land, a holiday tradition designed to bring families together while giving back to the community.

Mike’s commitment to Make-A-Wish Hawaiʻi is an ongoing one. Through the SAC Foundation, he has helped support wishes including Lyla’s Navy SEAL experience and Sharday’s Disney cruise with her family, while also contributing to the chapter’s broader wish-granting work. Climbing for Wishes carries that same belief forward—building something lasting so more children and families can experience the strength of a wish.
